Where is the sigmoid colon?

The sigmoid colon is found almost at the end of the GIT in the
lower abdomen. It is a continuation of the descending colon and
becomes the rectum.

I.e. oesophagus –> stomach –> duodenum –> jejunum
–> ileum –> ascending colon –> transverse colon –>
descending colon –> sigmoid colon –> rectum –> anus
–> toilet.
